Life with Myasthenia Gravis

Myasthenia Gravis causes major lifestyle changes for patients and their families. The unpredictability, the frustrations, the costs, and the weaknesses affect the entire family. Even medication-free remission without myasthenic symptoms does not guarantee the myasthenic patient will not have future problems. Overwork, stresses, and infections may cause problems. A patient should strive for a balance of work, home, and social obligations. This website is dedicated to helping myasthenics reach this balance. Each myasthenic must learn his body and his disease. Each myasthenic is in charge of his own person.

Live one day at a time to the fullest listening to your body as the hours pass and daily living activities occur.

The purpose of this website is to connect myasthenics with information and most importantly with each other. Too many myasthenics have lived alone with their myasthenia gravis for 20 - 30 - 40 years or more.

May no myasthenia gravis patient ever feel alone with their disease.
